Your data, clearly explained.
This notice describes the current Seedlingo website and app practices as of 13 August 2026.
1. Scope
This notice covers the Seedlingo marketing website, Seedlingo account services and the Seedlingo learning app. It does not replace the privacy terms of an app store, Stripe, Supabase or Cloudflare when you interact directly with those services.
2. Information we handle
- Account: email address, display name, authentication identifiers and basic account settings.
- Learning: course choices, vocabulary and sentence state, answers, review history, sessions, XP, achievements, preferences and resume checkpoints.
- Support: the topic, email and message you submit. Diagnostics are included only when you choose to include them.
- Billing: product, subscription, customer and transaction identifiers needed to verify access. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored in Seedlingo’s database.
- Device files: downloaded lesson and voice resources stay on your device until you remove them or clear the app data.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate and recover accounts, provide and synchronize learning, schedule reviews, preserve course continuity, verify Pro access, answer support requests, prevent abuse and improve reliability.
4. Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and the protected account database. Cloudflare provides learning-content delivery and website infrastructure when deployed there. Stripe provides web checkout and subscription management only after web billing is configured. App stores may verify purchases made in their stores.
5. Retention and deletion
Account-owned learning records remain while your account is active so learning can continue. Support records remain as needed to resolve and audit a request. Billing verification records remain as needed for access, accounting and dispute handling. You can permanently delete your Seedlingo account from Privacy and data in the app; the existing protected account-deletion service removes account-owned learning records.
6. Your choices
You can update profile preferences, manage local downloads, control learning feedback, sign out and request permanent account deletion. Payment-method and subscription controls are provided by the store or Stripe portal through which the purchase was made.
7. Security
Seedlingo uses encrypted connections, a publishable browser key, server-only billing secrets and database row-level security so signed-in learners can access only their own protected records. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes and questions
Material changes will be reflected in this notice and its effective date. For privacy questions, sign in and submit a secure request through Help & support.
